Alicia Quakenbush
Alicia Quackenbush is a long time resident of the picturesque village of La Jolla by the sea. Her humor, vision, design, eye, and ability to draw scenes from life and add a particular element of joy is inescapable. Alicia's seaside paintings and paintings of life are inspired by her walks in La Jolla and visits to the Mexican colonial town of San Miguel de Allende.
Alicia has created signature pieces for architects, corporations, and individuals. Her paintings have been designated by interior designers and television set productions and are found all over the world.
Her degree in fine arts, graphic design, and her creativity led her also into journalism where she became a newspaper editor and writer allowing her opportunities to interview major figures in science and the arts.
