About the event
G. James Daichendt, Ed.D. is an art critic and art historian that serves as Dean of the Colleges and Professor of Art at Point Loma Nazarene University. He is author of the books: The Urban Canvas: Street Around the World, Kenny Scharf: In Absence of Myth, Shepard Fairy Inc. Artist/Professional/Vandal, Stay Up! Los Angeles Street Art, Artist-Teacher, Artist Scholar, and a forthcoming biography on the artist Robbie Conal. He is the Principal Editor of the academic journal Visual Inquiry: Learning and Teaching Art and holds a doctorate from Columbia University and graduate degrees from Harvard and Boston universities.
